I'm looking at the idea of buying a Telluride and one of my concerns is if it would be able to tow a horse trailer or not. The trailer would be about 2,000-2,400lbs and then the horse I own is around 1,000lbs, and with tack/equipment it would all be around 3,500lbs total. I do live in a somewhat hilly area, but not mountainous by any means nor would I tug a trailer through the mountains. Just curious to know how the Telluride would perform while towing all of that. And this wouldn't be an every day kind of thing either, it would be maybe 6/7 times a year max that I would need to be doing this kind of towing. Give me as much info as possible regarding this.

You want to get an estimated tongue weight on the trailer also. And how many people and luggage will be in car also. Whatever the weight of additional luggage & people add to weight of trailer.
