Couldn’t Help But Laugh

Took my new Tell-U-Ride on it first road trip from Tampa to Colorado. Because the front end is so distinctive, I was occasionally looking for other Tellys headed the opposite direction. To my surprise, I might have seen 10-12 on the way out. So my unscientific observation is that the roads aren’t flooded with Tellys like they are with Highlanders (which is also a great vehicle). Anyway, one of our destinations along the way was Telluride, CO. We spent a couple of days there. Here’s the funny part (to me). I didn’t see one Telluride in Telluride.

Denali on Mt. Denali? Santa Fe in Santa Fe? Tahoe around Tahoe? I've seen a Malibu or two around Malibu

The yellow and or white driving lights make the Telluride easy to see from quite a distance. I have looked at the sister car (Pallisade) and just don't like the huge front grill. The rear end looks good.

When I first got mine in 2020, I would wave at every one I saw coming the other way. It's amazing how many people waved back at the time, and I attributed that to it still being a relatively uncommon vehicle that was very easy to spot with the amber lights. These days, I see Telluride's all over. I still wave a lot but mostly the corresponding drivers don't notice much any more.
