• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone installed the Thule Wingbar 150 (60 inch) cross bars? The 135 (53 inch) looks great with a few inch overhang on each side. However, in the summer, I'll be throwing both a cargo box and a Stand Up Paddleboard side by side on the roof. The extra 7 inches width is what I functionally need. But I'll have ~6-7 inch overhand on either side of the rails. Aesthetically, that sounds like a lot. Has anyone done this? Pictures? Opinions? Thanks in advance.

I heard somebody mention on another thread it looks cool. Maybe just buy the cross bars at a place where you can return them if you don’t like the looks.

Did you end up getting these?

I did. Took some muscle but got them situated on the rails. And so glad I got the wider bars. It looks awesome. More important, I'm able to load my SUP on one side and I bought a Yakima cargo box that is very narrow and fits side by side with the SUP/Kayak.

Thule Wingbar Evo, Model number 711420
Thule Flush Rail Evo, Model number 710601
Kit 186095, Model number 6095
Thule One-Key System, Model number 450400

All together = $773.59

I like them, but they are expensive compared to just getting these (https://a.co/d/fsWz8rF) from Amazon, which would meet my needs as well.

With that said, the first set that arrived, the end of one of the bars was dented in so I couldn't get the end cap to go in correctly, not without doing some banging to it, which would void warranty. I emailed them and they shipped me two new bars (I was only looking for one replacement) but they shipped an entire new box to me.

So with that said, I have two bars available in the garage; one perfectly fine, and one with the slight dent (see pic) that if someone is willing to pay shipping, I'll gladly send them out. Will save you $259.95, minus shipping cost.
