Custom ordering now available

I just received the below email from a dealer that previously could not custom order. Maybe kia has introduced a new ordering system to smaller dealers?

"I have fantastic news. I am able to order in tellurides now (custom) right from the factory! Give me the exact run down of what you are looking for at this point. I know colors have changed up for you. What exterior and interior color would you prefer? (SX prestige package as well if I remember correctly) I will send you the out the door price and if you like it I will get it ordered!"

Not to be negative, but chances are that dealer just sold a car that was taking up their build slot, and now they have one available. Most dealers have been taking orders, its just limited by the amount of build slots they have. What they are telling you is true, but I don't think its from any change in the process.

I custom ordered mine about 3 weeks ago....which isn't truly custom. Just select a trim, color, and options.

LOL is that sarcastic? I know everyone is pretty much paying MSRP, so not sure whether to wait or move with this. I am also trying to get them to give me a Sorento to drive while I wait for the order.
