• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Customer service issues with new 2021 Telluride

🤖 AI Summary

No AI summary has been generated for this thread yet.
There was a bump about 1 to 2 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch in height in the dash near the passenger air vent. KIA agreed to replace the dash. We also discovered the Heads Up Display was not working. During the replacement of the dash Kia diagnostic determined the wiring harness was defective.

My next stop, hoping not to have to escalate this just to get KIA to ship a replacement harness...... Good to hear from another WV resident. I am on the Ohio river side.
I have nothing to add to this thread except to say I was born in Clarksburg and grew up in Bridgeport.

I see you are in New Mexico now? Lucky you! You will not find a die hard WV fan in me I’m afraid. I grew up on the Coal River in St. Albans but had the great good fortune to move to Richmond VA in 1980 for a much improved standard of living. Then in 2012 my hubby had to take a job xfer to the Eastern Panhandle. Life sure does have a way of kicking you in the a$$ sometimes. The EP is ”little DC” now. I hate it here. I tell my friends back in Richmond to kiss the ground at your feet!

Finally got the Telluride back from the dealership after only 33 days waiting for a wiring harness replacement. I was assured that everything is in perfect working order. Too late to start checking this evening. The dash replacement looks very good and the Heads Up Display is now working. Check the rest tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I really want to like this vehicle, but very cautious.

We really considered selling and looking for something else because of the customer service. Looked at all the research again and came to the same conclusion. We really like this vehicle. So here's hoping for smooth sailing from here on out. The dealership was pretty good, KIA customer services will not return calls or emails.

Congratulations.

Kia Canada generally hiding from customers and their problems with Kia cars. I'll post a letter in the evening.

A typical response from company's today is to blame their lack of customer service to COVID. Such a lame excuse.

We have had the Telluride back for almost 2 weeks now. We really like the vehicle and fuel mileage at this point is better than EPA estimates. Got a little over 28mpg on a two hundred mile, mostly interstate trip. All systems are now working and the repair work was done very well.
