• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... CV Boot Leaking

Had to fight with dealer but they ended up replacing the whole CV axle. No cost to me.

No I see there is a recall for intermediate shaft problems.

Do you have any information from the warranty I can reference? I just went to dealer for oil change today and frankly while i was at a nearby plaza, they said there is a big issue with the axle. I told them what is it, she said they can't explain and i should come look at it in the shop. Well I said whatever it is with the axle then cover it under the warranty. Now they started back tracking, by the time i came back they said they had to take the car down. Now I asked them to explain it she could not, I went back to well replace whatever it is under warranty - she said warranty would probably cover the boot but the mechanic cleaned up and tried to re-attach -- again I have no idea what they are referring to -- then she is like pay $209 for diagnostic fee and we will take care of it - whatever the issue is we would apply towards it - it's Friday so did not want to leave the car over the weekend - now going back Monday morning.

I would appreciate any information to counter them on warranty push for this. My model is 2022 Kia Telluride SX Prestige.

Lastly, on a somewhat related note I do have wind noise coming on driver side now more - so will be asking them to take a look at it - unfortunately it was more now post my oil change - not sure what caused it - but ugh --- i just hope they take care of these things in warranty.

I am in orlando, florida - fyi in case anyone is interested or have similar issues as I in the area.

Update…we took our 2020 Telluride in to the Dealership (Nampa,ID). I provided the bulletin regarding the shaft issue that causes intermittent shaking/vibration. The dealership blamed the vibration on a bent wheel & a torn CV boot (passenger side). But if it was the wheel it would be a constant vibration- the vibration we feel is intermittent, it comes & goes. So it is clearly, not the bent wheel- (although we did get that fixed) but the car still vibrates/shakes. And the dealer still wants to charge me $200 for the diagnostic - This is so ridiculous. Why are so many Telluride owners having the same problem? I think it’s the shaft but dealership doesn’t want to look into it.

Brought in for a routine oil change for my 2020 SXP. They went ahead and replaced my right front passenger CV axle because they said it was leaking grease. They said the magic word was to tell them I "heard clicking noise when turning the wheel at low speeds", and they would replace under warranty. Was very easy and straightforward at the Kia dealer in MA.

You mentioned posting an update, but who are you?

How many miles did you have when KIA paid for the work?

Update, got Kia of America to replace my front passenger axle under warranty. Car has 87700 miles. Dealer had insisted it was not covered and wanted $1045
