• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Did KFOS open up for March already?

Just found out today my dealership only got allocated 5 this month when last month they got 10 allocations so now I'm number 2 on the list. So much for thinking I was getting picked this month :(
Wow Joelle530 when did you order? 42 on the list is going to take months.
I ordered September 22, 2021. I was originally at 130 something when I ordered. I went with a larger dealership that receives about 30 to 40 allocations a month. Although, not sure that was the greatest option as I am still sitting here almost 6 months later and Kia has not picked up my order...LOL

I ordered my Telluride 12/5/2021 and was told an eta of 3-6 months. I went to the dealership last week and my car still has no VIN # and no ETA. I am wondering if i will Get my car by June at this point.

Can someone educate me on what is KFOs?

It's the Kia ordering system so basically dealerships are taking orders and placing them in reserve and when Kia sets up an allocation for each dealership they're allowed every month then they pull from their reserve order. Your dealership should be able to tell you where you are in line before Kia picks it up or if it's already been picked up already sounds like bad communication on your dealership. Call them and ask if Kia actually picked up your order or if you're still in line and where in line you were at Don't feel bad I ordered mine October 19th and I'm still second in line with my dealership so I should be picked up from Kia in April. Each dealership is different on the amount of allocations they get from Kia.

Does anyone know, when it comes to allocations, does the dealer request a certain number of allocations per trim, or is it just whatever the factory decides? Like for instance, I am on a short list for an S AWD, but what determines how many S AWDs get allocated each month at the dealer?

I believe Kia determines how many each dealer gets per trim from what I understand.
