yeah I figured. still, I'd have to assume collisions are at least logged if not "recorded" with the cameras. Luckily the damage is very minor but dammit parking lot dings are the worstI've had the same question. Thankfully, my 'Ride didn't get hit, but I had someone steal a piece of property that would have been on the camera if there was some type of loop recording going on. I'm assuming not, or it would probably have been a highlighted feature.

Do you think Trader Joes has cameras for the parking lot or maybe other nearby stores have cameras? Were there any witnesses? Did you take pictures of the other car you believe was involved?
I would get camera footage or witnesses if possible, then take that information it to them or file a police report.
A friend of mine had his SUV hit in a golf course parking lot, a witness told him who did it. He got an estimate for the repair and brought it to the responsible person who denied hitting his vehicle.
