• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dome/Interior Lights

I was hoping this would be the answer for what LEDs to use for the overhead lights.

Still helpful:) thank you!

I have the opposite issue. My dome lights will not turn off. I open the door start and drive and the lights don't turn off. Anyone have the same issue?

As has been shared already, button two below needs to be depressed for the dome lights to come on with the doors.

Your issue is probably that button one is depressed. That will turn on the room lights all the time.

How about manually pressing on each light? Does it make any of the individual lights turn off? Maybe somebody turned on all the individual lights without your knowledge.

Just tried that. The only way I get them to turn off is locking the vehicle.

Could be one of the control modules in the car stuck in a state requesting all interior lights to come on. Maybe try pulling the battery main cable from the terminal to cut power for a minute or two and allow for it to reset?

If you are not comfortable doing that, it sounds like a visit to the dealer might be needed. It does not sound like you have normal lighting behavior.

Thanks for the reply but both buttons are not depressed. Any other suggestions?

I would also try repeatedly pressing button 1 again in case it’s just a bad/loose switch that is stuck.

Great idea. Will try once I get home.

This thread is still helping people! I've had my vehicle 3 months and couldn't figure it out! Thanks!
