• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Have a 2019 SX delivered in July 2019.

Noticed last fall during certain temparture range, roughly 35-50 degrees - there is an incredibly annoying and loud rattle inside the driver side door, sounds like it's coming from just behind/under the mirror controls.

You can hear the rattle when shutting the door as well.

Didn't happen all winter here in Ohio until the weather started warming up here again. It's very noticeable and consistent, something is not quite fitting during expansion/contraction of temperature. Tried opening window fully, rattle still happens. On smooth asphalt no rattle, slightest bumps or inconsistent road finish you get the rattle very badly. It's loud enough I may be able to capture it with my phone to show to the dealer.

I can't "feel" the rattle when I put my hand up against various parts of the door which makes me think it is definitely something internal.

Anyone else experience this and have a resolution? Just feels like I am setting myself up for finding a needle in a haystack with the dealer.

Something probably came loose. If you are not comfortable taking the door panel apart, take it to your dealer. It will be covered under warranty. Give the dealer a chance to fix it before you venture on to diy fix.
