• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone have any guides or tips on the install of the wiring harness on the driver side. The seat on my Telluride only moves forward and no other direction. Dealership quoted me a grand to replace the harness. Do they have to remove the seat to access the plugs on the right side of the seat. I'm going to attempt to splice and repair the harness myself but will buy the full thing if I have to. I wish it wasn't -20 outside.

If I have to remove the seat, is the seat removable if you can't adjust the position of it.

Being that there is an active Recall for the power seats, have you checked with the dealer to see if your issue is covered? - FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SWITCH REPAIR/REPLACEMENT (SC316)
I've never actually done it myself, so I have no tips. The only access to diagrams that I have is for a 2024, but I'm sure they're similar. Here are the documents and diagrams that I could find related to the front seat:

Yeah we had the recall done, turns out the wiring harness plugged in to the controls on the driver side got ripped somehow. I've done some solder repair on them, but the dealership disconnected the main connects of the old harness and now I have to find everything they have disconnected now.
