• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dumb cruise control option?

I was driving this morning in the sleet for the first time and I got the alert that the sensor was off for the smart cruise control so it could not be activated. This is all well and good and makes sense for me, but is there any option to be able to just do a traditional "dumb" cruise control, where you just set the speed and the car just keeps it at that speed? I couldn't activate any type of cruise control my whole commute and that is kind of annoying. When I got out the sensor was covered with some slush, which explains its error message, but I just wonder if there is an option that I'm missing.

thanks in advance,
Mike

Headway button is the distance button. I would also like to mention not to use cruise control(smart or dumb) in any weather condition.
