• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone had a drop down DVD player installed in there telluride yet? Or looked into it?
I’m looking at one for mine, I have 3 young kids and the iPads are NOT working out. We can’t hardly take them anywhere!! I’ve had my telluride a year now.. and it doesn’t have any sunroofs in it either. I’ve found a couple places that would install one and one place was only gonna charge $500, which was about half of what the other place told me lol. It will be a good couple more years before I will be able to get another new SUV to.. so that’s out of the question. The shop also said that headrests was more expensive..and I’m not sure how that would work for my oldest in the third row anyway. But looking to see if anyone else has done this yet?

The last car we bought (before my Telluride) we paid extra for the DVD infotainment package, etc. It turned out to be the biggest waste of money. We never used it. The kids all used their tablets instead. DVD is a dinosaur these days. How old are your kids? What's wrong with an iPad? Get them all a cheap amazon tablet if you're worried about them breaking it..

For $500 you can get some nice tablets with headrest brackets and download as many movies as you'd ever need. They're plentiful on Amazon and eBay, and you can install them yourself rather than wasting money for someone else to install an overhead DVD unit. There's a few examples on here that people have done.

The oldest will be 5 in June and the other is 2 (3 in August) Yeah we’ve did all of those and it’s useless! We have 2 nice iPads with Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, Disney + and etc! Both even connected to my phone plan so they both have there own unlimited data package!! The kids throw a fit when they mess up or die, because they won’t leave them on the charger or they get sick of it and throw it. And I’m over it. We’ve tried attaching them to the headrests to and that didn’t last. I will NEVER buy an suv without an entertainment system again ha

No disrespect but maybe the last thing they need is another screen then. I'm being sincere.

Press quiet mode mode on your UVO infotainment screen. That should silence out your children’s screaming. I think. 🤥

Library cards...
