• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Any EXer’s out there considering or have replaced the 18inch oem wheels with aftermarket 18s while keeping the oem tires?? And if you have do you have pics? Considering aftermarket 20s too but wondering if the look is worth the upgrade cost in wheels +tires....

I’m going this way ....https://www.wheelwiz.ca/wheels/american-racing/ar928/gloss-black/ar92898512340

Then using stock as winters

That’ll look sharp! 18’s or 20s?
I’ll go the same route with my stock wheels as well

Another member posted these and said it was a nice balance between ride and appearance . Some have noted that the 20's look out of place with the boxy design , plus larger sidewalls are cheaper on the wallet .

Got these Asanti 20s coming any day now! We'll post pics as soon as they are installed!

I emailed Kia Canada to see why we couldn't factory order black wheels here and as part of their response they gave me the Kia branded wheels that are available at the dealerships. Pretty expensive in my opinion but thought I'd post it anyway as another option.

Not as pretty but we got winter tires on 18s from Fast (model Switch/Titanium). Looks decent to tackle Alberta winter.

I wonder why did you decide to go with Continental winter tires? Was it recommended or based on price?
The reason why I'm asking, when I did my research - top tires were Nokian Hakka, Michelin X Ice and Bridgestone Blizzaks.

How did you pick them?

Hmm… it was just a brand preference :giggle:
I had the Continental Winter tires for my previous cars and they seems to be fine. (I have a feeling that the Contintental preform better on snow covered roads and Michelin would do better on highway)
$208.99 plus tax, Environmental fee
