  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Exhausted from looking, any help is appreciated

Hi y’all! First time post-er, I’ve been quietly reading and learning. I’m in South Florida and in the same boat. I’d be willing to pay to ship (any idea how much from TX or IN?) or to travel to pick up or I’ll take intel on any reputable and fair FL dealers. I’m looking for MSRP for a 2021 EX FWD with Premium Package in Gravity Gray/Black interior. I’ve got a Costco membership too if it will help me get that or lower 💁🏼‍♀️ This will be my first brand new car and the experience has been a pain so far. lol 😩

The bad experience..... We hear this on the daily. We do ship to Florida. You can use $1,000 as a round number. Have no clue where you are. We are a Costco Auto Program Dealer.

I have driven all over South Florida, don't waste your time. Its getting harder and harder to find anything. I'm still trying to find a good deal on a Moss Green sxp with towing and the prices I have been getting are only going up! Eventually, it will get better-hopefully my van will survive another six months. You might be best off contacting Jason Fox and just ordering. The dealer fees and other markups make it so difficult to compare prices.

Good to know I’m not alone but sucks that this is the climate we are in right now. I’ll likely end up reaching out to Jason because even the BEST price/dealer fees are probably still going to negate what I’d be able to get from them with their honest pricing, Costco program plus shipping. Not to mention an all around easier experience, from what it seems. Good luck with your search!!

If they didn’t offer to let you order, there is a good chance those dealers are not accepting orders. The good news is the EX FWD is one of the easier trims to get—for example, if you order it will come much faster than a AWD SX.
I suggest ordering through one of the reputable dealers on this forum that sell at MSRP or lower. What you pay in shipping will be less than the markup you would pay locally.
What's the rule of thumb for trim level production? I'm interested in FWD SX but there doesn't seem to be many coming out of the factory. Anyone have insight into planned productions?

I would ask this in the "Order to Delivery" thready, they should be able to help you out. I ordered a FWD EX from Colorado and the sales manager was able to allocate my order right away because they usually reject a LX FWD every month and instead they requested it to be my EX FWD. Not 100% sure exactly how that works but that's what he said

Great. That's good info. Thank you. I'll jump over to "Order to Delivery"
