I was surprised to find out that my Telluride arrived a week early! This is the first new car my husband and I have purchased (and first car purchased from a dealership) and we just learned about the extended warranty offer. They are quoting $3k for 10 years/100,000 miles 0 deductible and a free rental while the car is in the shop. It sounds like Kia of Muncie has a much better deal. I’m in Washington so is it possible to purchase an extended warranty from Kia of Muncie and have it honored by Kia dealerships here in WA? Totally clueless on how this works.
The dealership is telling me people get EW because of the electronics. My current car is a 2005 Subaru so fairly low tech. DO electronics break down in cars? Trying to weigh whether to get EW in the first place.
