I just purchased a 2022 SX telluride last week. I want the 100,000 mile 10 year extended warranty. My dealer in Houma, Louisiana offered LDS Warranty for about $2,300. Is that a reasonable price?

I found the paperwork. I was so mistaken. He cost for LDS 3xtendedwarranty is $2,780. for 10 yrs 100,000 miles. Is that reasonable?

It is my understanding the warranty on KIA tellurides is
3 yrs 36K Miles. Bumper to Bumper
5 yrs 60K Miles Bumper to Bumper with the exception of Touch Screen and Back up Camera
10 yrs 100K Miles Power Train, engine and transmission

Muncie KIA (search around here) has had the best ext warr pricing around for a few yrs now. Probably looking at saving yourself a thousand dollars if you go with them. That price you paid is not great no. GL

From a non warranty guy, save your money on 3rd party car warranties.

Definitely contact some other dealers like Muncie. You should be looking between $1700-$1800 for it.

I have gotten a price from Muncie Kia. $1,550..
I am waiting on a price from Fort Bend Kia.
I am just worried that I haven’t heard if anyone in Louisiana has worked with Muncie.

The warranty isn't from Muncie. It's the same third-party warranty you would get from any dealer. Your bumper-to-bumper applies first, then once it expires, they'll fight you but eventually maybe reimburse you.

Barker Kia? How was the closing process, any pressure for add-ons? I ordered August 23rd and still no word.

I had a great experience with Barker Kia. They were so helpful with all of my questions. My salesman Nick Dehart is so knowledgeable about the Telluride. We spent a lot of time going over the car. Nick was so patient and answered all of my questions.
The finance manager James Guillot was also extremely helpful. He went over the add ons but was not overbearing. It was a simple process. James went over everything. I have had additional questions after the sale and James has been so helpful. I would recommend this dealership to all.
You said you ordered in August. Have you checked back to see the status?

I have been in touch on a regular basis with Brad, my trim level should be up next. I think i ordered just before some of the factory shut-downs and order increases. I live in Mandeville, where do you plan on getting your service done? I work in New Orleans so i thought i would use the Westbank location

Off topic, but my order is from that same dealership. When was your original order placed? Mine was placed 8/23 and I still have not been allocated.
