Extended warranty ?

should I call to cancel this? I just picked up my 2021 prestige sx yesterday.

Extended warranty for 2500$ bumper to bumper to 125k and it came with free lifetime oil changes (every 5k-7500k) fluids topped off, tires rotations, etc.
Said it was 200$ under their cost (sure)
and it was brought down from 3700 which was originally offered (because they wanted to make me happy). Was I ripped off?

I highly doubt it was $3700 to start; they’re trying to sell “value”. Best you can do is take it in every 5k for oil changes and tire rotations to try and get something out of it.

8 year or 120k miles is $1,846
10 years of oil change: 2x/year @ $50 = $1000 est

If you paid ~$3000 maybe it's a decent price

Kia suggest an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. If you plan to drive over 10,000 miles annually you will need more oil changes. $2500 sounds like a good price. Does the dealer have a free car wash? That would make the service deal sweeter too.

I’m not really sure- I guess just the regular checks that come with oil changes (sorry not too savvy on the car lingo)

she also said it’s “synthetic oil” and it was 150$ Oil change - I feel like this is a lie? Is it actually a 50$ oil change? Do they use synthetic on Telly oil changes??

You can value the oil change however you want. Telluride does not require synthetic(doesn't hurt either), so the $50 figure is a rough estimate. It all varies by location. If you want to pay for 10 years oil changes up front and have no flexibility to take the car anywhere else, maybe that service contract is worth it. Personally, I wouldn't take that service contract.
