Factory cross bar pads

The cross bars from Kia are fine but lacking any rubber or cushion to prevent slipping of items like lumber or packages. They also will become scratched in the process. I just got these in from Amazon and they fit perfectly at 36". Secured by velcro tabs and ties at the end. Thanks for sharing. Does the cross bar have any type of rubber pad where it connects with the silver roof rail to prevent scratching of the roof rail?

Yes, it contacts the rails with a rubber seal and can be moved around with no marks on the rails.
