  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This is not any indictment on failcat, as I am appreciative of any additional sources of information out there, but as I was trying to see if my dealership has my spec vehicle coming in inventory, I notice that for some vehicles, the trim level shown on failcat is different than the trim level shown on the window sticker. I saw a few other examples out of the 20 or so coming into the dealership that I have a 2023 on order. For example, failcat showed SX V6, but the sticker has it as SX X-Pro V6. Maybe this is not news, but if you are like me and checking, you may need to doube check the dealer website in conjunction with failcat to be certain.
