• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone noticed that failcat hasn’t updated since 4-20-2022? I actually thought VIN’s were updated the next day but these were done on 4-20 and nothing since then? Sorry if this has been discussed or a thread for this, I couldn’t find anything.

Yeah I saw that too ... :(

Has anyone heard anything about production halting?? 🥴

I’ve been wondering what’s going on but can’t find any info anywhere

I noticed that too, and don’t believe there have been industry parts shortages as of recently to warrant a production halt..

Could they be gearing up the production lines for new 2023 lineup? 😀 I ordered mine from PA dealer in October due to receive in July, so would he a nice surprise

I ordered mine on February 16th and got a call from dealer yesterday saying they received a ETA from Kia for June 29th. He didn’t mention anything about production halted. I would love to be updated to the 2023 model but probably want happen

I noticed as well. Is failcat down?

Similar story here. Ordered January 20 and just got the ETA of May 18. No word at all about a switch to the '23 model year.

I believe that in the last couple months there was a little lag with failcat, and all of a sudden about a week's worth of VINs popped up all at the same time. Maybe it's that situation again?

Ours has been on order since July 2021. Just got updated last week we were 3 from the top of the list. Really getting anxious to see if our Vin has been produced

I was both excited and disgusted to see the debut of the 2023 model. Excited at all of the interior updates and trims but disgusted as I ordered my 2022 in January (still hasn't arrived) and I really want that 2023 dash. Obviously new car models come out every year but I really wasn't expecting such a big change to the dash. Alas!

EX Nightfall Premium in Wolf Gray. Really considered the green but didn't trust the pics online and dealer didn't have any 2022s in green to show (they said the green was updated from 21 to 22).

I almost got the tow package but ultimately declined. Don't have any toys to pull at the present but perhaps in the future. Hope I don't regret! One regret I do have is not getting the interior multi color light illumination option. Ya I know it may seem kitschy but I think my two little kids would've loved it. Although the other drivers watching the rave in my car on the highway may have not.

That’s the change that makes me want the 2023 model. I love the smooth transition from the GPS to the speedometer area. Really looks nice

Probably placing order this week (yay!) and dealer said ‘23 models would likely start in aug or September. Not sure if he’s just guessing or that’s factual.

Hope we find out soon. What dealership was it?
