MY2022 orders may have ceased, however production of MY2022 has not. I have a MY2022 vin from my dealer scheduled to be delivered on 9/30/22 and it is not in the failcat data.Failcat works. MY2022 orders have ceased for the changeover so no new VIN currently show.
It may be then that those parties responsible for maintaining Failcat have ceased updating it with any new results until the MY2023 starts.MY2022 orders may have ceased, however production of MY2022 has not. My vin is approximately 1000 higher than the highest vin failcat shows on 9/15/22.
I submit based on the above that failcat does not currently work. (certainly not like it used to)
We all have to remember that the team that handles Failcat is reliant on what Kia does and what they post. It's very probable that Kia is holding up their usual posting of VINS/Stickers so they can't be scraped by the Failcat system. Perhaps they are purposefully doing this to cause confusion/add excitement to the 2023 changeover. We'll find out soon enough!
Doesn't matter. It's all speculation. Failcat is just a tool, not gospel. If it works, be thankful, if not, oh well. What Excitement? the vin with 323042 is a 2022 not a 2023.
Yeah, it was dead for a few days and now it's back to full production, almost 1000/day. I suspected they shut down '22's but there still going strong.Looking at failcat, looks like they seem to be producing more these days? Am I wrong?
I doesn't update Sundays and Mondays.Aaaaand it stopped again.
