  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... FAILCAT?

Is failcat ever going to work again? I no that there are Vin# as high as 323042 or more.

Failcat works. MY2022 orders have ceased for the changeover so no new VIN currently show.
MY2022 orders may have ceased, however production of MY2022 has not. I have a MY2022 vin from my dealer scheduled to be delivered on 9/30/22 and it is not in the failcat data.

My vin is approximately 1000 higher than the highest vin failcat shows on 9/15/22.

I submit based on the above that failcat does not currently work. (certainly not like it used to)

It may be then that those parties responsible for maintaining Failcat have ceased updating it with any new results until the MY2023 starts. 🤷‍♂️

Vin# 318029 through 323042 is a lot of Vin's not to be put in. And 323042 is to the best of my knowledge.

We all have to remember that the team that handles Failcat is reliant on what Kia does and what they post. It's very probable that Kia is holding up their usual posting of VINS/Stickers so they can't be scraped by the Failcat system. Perhaps they are purposefully doing this to cause confusion/add excitement to the 2023 changeover. We'll find out soon enough!

What Excitement? the vin with 323042 is a 2022 not a 2023.
Doesn't matter. It's all speculation. Failcat is just a tool, not gospel. If it works, be thankful, if not, oh well.

I found out my Vin (321147) today from the dealer and it doesn't show on failcat it's still a 2022 and est. for 10/24. I was getting nervous because it wasn't showing in failcat, but hearing others are in the same situation gives me hope.

Wonder why so many of the last few VINs are going to West Virginia dealer :
WV019 Ken Ganley Kia Clarksburg
97 JOY LANE
BRIDGEPORT WV 26330

5 VIN showed up in Failcat today and 1 yesterday for the dealership I ordered from. First VIN in Failcat for the dealership since 8-28.

Who’s gonna get the last 2022 VIN? 😂 My 2022 has an ETA of 10/3.

I have been waiting for my VIN to show up in Failcat and it skipped my VIN what does this mean?
It means your Telluride is on the way! Failcat may catch your VIN in a few days as it does not always go in VIN order. Or it may not catch it at all like my EX. In the tracking thread Stephen Cantrelle can still track your Telluride and provide you with a Mulroney sticker if you ask nicely.

They are still catching up . Vin# are 323833 or higher. Friendly Kia New Port Richey FL his that one.

Looking at failcat, looks like they seem to be producing more these days? Am I wrong?

Yeah, it was dead for a few days and now it's back to full production, almost 1000/day. I suspected they shut down '22's but there still going strong.
