• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello Kia Fam! I got in my 2022 EX the other day and it had a warning pop up right after starting that says "Check Forward Collision Avoidance Assist system" which goes away after a couple seconds and then pops right back up, over and over. There is a front collision orange light that's always lit up.

I took the vehicle into the local Kia service center and they said they couldn't even look at the vehicle for a few weeks (even though I had an appointment!) so I figured I'd see if anyone here has experienced this or has any thoughts.

The camera at the top of the windshield looks fine and nothing blocking it. I have not taken the bumper off to look at the sensor but doesn't look like anything is stuck in there.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

This is bs, take it to a different dealer and insist they look at it. Probably goes without saying, If there is nothing blocking the sensor, then it is most likely a defective sensor

Yeah agreed - all 3 dealers in my area are telling me that the first appointment is at least a week or more out, and I have one scheduled for the 13th now. Starting to feel like the biggest issue with this vehicle has been the difficulty to get Kia to fix things in a timely matter and not the issues themselves!
