• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Finally made a permanent sub enclosure.

Thats pretty cool. Is the box that big to help with the sound? Seems like a bit of storage to loose out on.

That looks amazing and looks to fit perfectly. What a great solution for adding a sub! :)

Looks nice! How easy is it to remove if you need to access the spare tire?

Yes its a large box for an 8. Its tuned to about 27 Hz and needs the space to get that low. I was aiming for the response and not so much volume/loudness. We also designed it that large so I could If I want upgrade to a 10 later. It does not cover the bolt for eh spare tire so I don't have to move it at all. It does slide out very easy right now though so I can remove it without much issue if i want. I bet it takes 30 seconds at most so I am thinking about bolting it to the floor in case of a collision.

My friend and I finally had time to make a custom sub box. He did most of the work. I kept my little Dayton 8 inch sub and love the way it sounds.

Telluride Sub box Install

When I clicked your imgur link, I was honestly expecting a custom permanent sandwich box build for your Telly. 🤦‍♂️

Looks great. That’s kind of what I want to do with mine but I have a large 12 wouldnt sit flush like that. Might look into a shallowmount 12

That is cool. I have a 10" alpine and amp just laying around. I don't really use that space for much on my Telluride. Maybe down the road, I'll do the same!
