My Telluride is coming up on its first maintenance milestone.
Does the forum recommend getting it serviced at a Kia service center, or is my local auto repair shop good enough? Will the former be significantly more expensive? How to choose? And will the answer change for subsequent maintenance needs?

After a year of driving my 2021 Black Copper SX-P I took it in to the dealer on 8/9/21 for the 7500 mile service. I only had 6200 miles on it. I change my own oil. The charge came to $49 for a tire rotation and a free multipoint inspection. I was surprised and impressed. am enjoying my Telluride.

If it's complimentary then I would take in to the dealer. Once it starts costing you more then if you have an independent I would use them. As long as you keep a good record of things it should maintain your warranty. Does Kia have owner site where you can record maintenance? I know Lexus does.
