• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... First Road Trip Summary

That’s something I left out. With littles, we make more frequent stops than I normally would so it didn’t bother me on this trip, but the most we got out of it was the 359 (<20 miles to empty). I feel like that is just very average. For what is supposed to be a family hauler, road trip warrior type of vehicle, it is an area they could improve on. Just a couple more gallons in the tank should get it to a good spot.
Not saying it is not technically possible to increase the fuel tank size with the current vehicle design, but if I had to choose, I pick smaller fuel tank with a spare tire vs. larger fuel tank with a can of "goo" to address any flat tires (which by the way won't do a thing with a larger hole or sidewall tear...)

Mike, what was the temperature like? From my driving history of KT, winter driving (23.3mpg) vs. summer driving (26.5mpg) makes a big difference, about 3 mpg worse during winter.

Where I am, "winter fuel" drops MPG about 5-10%.

Right, the 3mpg drop probably driven by both temperature and winter bend.

My other pet peeve is how the car drastically slow down when there's a car in front of me making an exit. I made a habit of driving over to passing lane when I know a ramp is coming up just to avoid this.
I had to have the digital speedometer on so that I could tell when I slowed down otherwise I would be going 65 and not really notice it at times. Lol. Not a complaint but just an observation

On the way up it was 60s to 50s. On the way back it was 50s. I hadn’t considered that as a factor. I can’t wait to gather more data so I can start to see these types of trends though.
