If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... First time caller, long time listener

I am hoping there is NO distortion on the cluster. Don't really care too much about the infotainment screen, so a slight amount is ok there.
I haven't noticed any distortion on the cluster. I only ever notice a slight lack of clarity on the infotainment screen on bright days and it's never enough to bother me. I think since the cluster has the overhang to slightly shade it, the glare/light blocking isn't an issue at all. You'll have to report back once you've got it!

Sounds good - might even have it by Saturday, in which case I will get r done. I assume if for some reason I don't like it, I can take it off?

Any word on this? My car came in early and I'm picking up on Thursday so definitely looking to buy accessories soon.
It looks like I won't have them here in time for your pick-up on Thursday. Sorry. I think I'll have them in next week, if you're okay with a delay...

I might be able to hold off til next week. I'm taking my car in right after pick up to get it chrome deleted and tinted so I won't have the car back until next week.

My screen protector just arrived today. Give me a day or so to do the install and I will post how I like the matte finish and any difficulties I had doing the install.

Ordering direct from SCREENPROTECH is pretty fast - only took 3 business days to get here.

Update
See my post #33. I ordered the wrong version. The HD version is awful IMO.

Good to know, I'm leaning towards doing the HD one just because all of my electronics are that way and it's familiar but definitely wanting to hear your thoughts on the matte one as well.

It is interesting in that at first glance after unrolling the protector, it is very shiny - like a high gloss -- not matte. So I went back to their website and I apparently ordered the HD version. In retrospect, I think I am going to like this one better - it will appear almost exactly the same as right now.

Lol well, I'm looking at both options so still happy to hear your thoughts on the HD one. Particularly on whether it cuts down on fingerprints or not so much.

To make things easier for fingerprints on any of the piano black surfaces and screens do what I learned to do when I owned my Sorento - stow a small mist spray bottle of screen cleaner (make sure it is SAFE for all screens DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH ALCOHOL) along with a good size microfiber cloth. Actually, as I just found, a good bottle for this is the small bottle that comes in the kit from ScreenProTech, once it has served it's purpose with the protector. I keep both bottle and cloth in the bottom of the center console, and once every week or so, I'll clean up the piano black and screens.

And speaking of the center console, it will help to buy (Amazon for $15) the center console organizer. I liked the one for the Sorento better as it covered the entire top of the console, where the one for Telluride leaves a gap in front about 1/4 of the way - but I am sure someone will design a full one someday.

I plan on keeping the car clean as much as possible but a reduction in fingerprints would be helpful lol. And I'm taking advantage of Prime Day and getting many accessories now, including that console organizer.

I'm very disappointed in the HD. I should've paid more attention to what I was doing and ordered the matte finish. The HD is probably 3x more reflective than without anything. Almost like having a huge panoramic piano-black mirror in the car. So much so that I actually think it would have interfered with my driving. So, I removed it.
To answer your question - I think it would have greatly enhanced the sight of fingerprints.

So - if it were me - I'd order the matte finish. I think it'll be eons better. But second time around for me, I think I will just forget about a protector and rely on my cleaning routine - at least for the next year.

About the process -
Be sure to heavily wet the face of the infotainment screen as well as both sides of the screen (just like they tell you to. The screen is quite unwieldly to handle because of the panoramic size.

Position the protector in both corners quickly and the center top. It will still slide around at this point. Make sure you have it all the way at the top no gaps.

Use the squeegee from the center going up and center going down to remove bubbles. Always apply the squeegee outward. You'll spend at least a half hour working the bubbles out.

They claim some small bubbles will remain for a few days.

Look closely at the white paper backing the protector was first attached to and you'll see a much smaller piece designed to fit around the knobs below the infotainment.

I have the HD and LOVE it. Really no fingerprints at all. Occasionally a little dust that I just sweep off with a clean microfiber. When these were taken all the air bubbles hadn't been reabsorbed. They are all gone now and it looks like nothing is on the screen.

Lol dang this was not helpful.

If you look at his pictures closely, you can get an idea of just how reflective the film is - especially the first pic on the left. When you see it in person, seeing the whole panoramic, the overall effect is much worse. While there is a little bit, the screen (without the protector) is quite free of reflection.

This btw was my only complaint. Everything else was good, including the clarity resolution and also the remaining bubbles that I am sure would disappear in a couple of days. So, if the reflection is something that wouldn't bother you, buy it.

Any chance you got an ETA? Just got my car back from the shop today!
...this was all supposed to be settled a week ago but I was never invoiced for the sets... So I know that has to happen first (which will probably happen today), and then they need to cut the sets... So, unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be another week or so before I get them here... Kinda disappointing but they did tell my assistant that they've been very busy - which I guess is a good thing as this means the product is something many people like. It'll be nice to list them in the forum store...
