• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Floormats for Telluride - good options?

Installed Smart Liners tonight. Overall the fitment is good and the mats look great. I had no troubles with the carpet hooks lining up as some have reported. 2 complaints though. 1 - The driver's side mat is cut about a quarter inch shy of completely covering the pedal for your left foot. This is pretty annoying and obviously a manufacturing flaw. 2 - Since the second row and third row are all one piece it has to be folded in the box that it ships in. This causes some pretty bad creasing in a couple of spots. This is also annoying but understandable in the way that it needs to be packaged. I laid the mats out for 24 hours which did help some but the strip that goes between the captain's chairs was still creased. I ended up using a heat gun after installation and molding it back to shape which did the trick.

Those look good; you can’t hardly tell there was a crease so the heat gun worked well. I like the Smartliners and these were my second choice behind WeatherTech.

Thanks. The photo of the 3rd row/center strip is actually pre heat gun. You can't even see a crease now. The material is pretty malleable. I expect as they sit in the vehicle they'll mold even more.

I am leaning towards the weathertech liners (not the HP)
we get a lot of snow here in winter.
Anyone has weathertech 3 row set for the 8 seater telluride?

I only see 7 seater configuraction on their website. or the island coverage part just slides in under the bench seat?

I have the 8 seater, but I only bought weathertech liners for the first two rows, as I'll be using the third row only rarely. The second row liner fits the bench properly - there's no island coverage part.

As a suggestion, can you snap a photo of the issue?
I've got the mats, but I'm still waiting on my Telly to show up from Nov. 9th. (Ontario, Canada)

I took a video as well that I will try to attach. The problem is it catching on the left side of the gas pedal. Thanks again for taking the time to help😊

Yeah be careful around the gas pedal; that could turn into a problem that could get out of control quickly 😬

Exactly! I'll try to reposition it again today - if no success, I'll contact TuxMat tomorrow for any helpful hints. Have to say I do love the look of them. Have the canvasback liners too .... both companies have great customer service!

I reached out to SmartLiner about the left foot rest coverage and this is their response.
"The liner is not designed to cover the foot rest all the way. I do apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know."
In looking at people photos of WeatherTech, it seems like they are the same way.

I’m with you. We get a lot of snow which also means mud and gravel. Really love the full coverage of these. I just got the weathertech HP for all three rows today and couldn’t be happier! I have the 7 seater. You are correct that it is the same config and the strip just runs under the bench. It doesn’t connect to the second row so I don’t think you would see it all. The fit is great and very easy to install. For those that care- I prefer the weathertech HP liners to the regular liners. Softer plastic and the weathertech branding is stamped to color of floormat instead of the big, prominent red weathertech logo. They cost $20 more but worth it in my opinion.

I pulled the trigger and bought the Smartliners. My telly updated delivery date is 2/27 (it's In Transit!!). I wanted to have the mats ready for my baby...

@BabyRide your pics look great! Thanks for posting.

Thanks and you're welcome. Just remember the 2nd/3row is one piece and places are going to be creased from being folded into the box. I laid them out inside for 24 hours which helped a little then once installed used a blow dryer to heat the plastic and just worked the creases out gradually. Worked perfectly!

Thanks for the advice. Will do the same.

Anyone have the WeatherTech 2nd row one-piece liner that goes over the center hump?

TuxMat just sent me an email this morning saying they have all the 3 rows of the 7-seater back in stock. Just ordered mine.

Again I prefer the looks of the WeatherTech but this one seems to protect way more.

I want to get good floormats to protect the car, and there a lot of choices on Amazon: OEM, "TOUGH Pro", "Tux Mat", etc. Does anyone have a good experience with a particular company that they'd like to share in terms of fit, quality, etc? Thanks!
I got the dealer installed all weather mats and the rear cargo mat also attaches to the back of the third row seats and folds down nicely and less expensive than weathertech
