FOB FAIL

So I get a Telluride infotainment update FOB in the mail. It's in a beautiful aluminum case with an instruction booklet. Follow the instructions and my screen reads "files are corrupted".

Thinking back on my college days as a Marketing major and wondering if this is consistent with the Kia experience? Little things like this destroy the brand.
