I've had our Telluride SX (Canada) since April 2019 and love it (see my 6 months review 6 months ownership summary)
Now that we got terrible temperatures here in Alberta I've noticed that TElluride fogs up quicker and easier than any other SUVs I've driven. The settings for HVAC are set to Auto, Sync and Rear vents are on Auto as well. The windows will still fog up. The only thing that prevents it from fogging up is to turn on AC, then adjust the fan speed and temperature. My understanding is that AC dries out the air, then heater warms it up so there is less condensation inside. As soon as I hit Auto then AC goes off and it starts slowly fogging up again.
I've also checked the air intake on the outside and snow is not plugging it. I checked the cabin air filter and it looks fine. Air circulation is not on and I'm getting outside air.
Also checked the manual and it talks about Automatic Defogger that supposed to turn on automatically when the system senses increased humidity. It looks like I have that enabled.
Have you experienced more fogging in your Telluride compared to other vehicles? ANything else I could check and just accept it as way of life.
