Footwell Space While Driving

Just wondering if any of you have trouble finding a spot for your right foot when using HDA/ACC on the freeway. This may be a bit nitpicky, but coming from a VW Atlas, my right foot had a natural place to rest that was a similar angle to the dead pedal on the left side. I also had a 2017 Ford Explorer that had a similar problem. I'm 6', so I have pretty long legs. My daily commute is about an hour each way, so my legs will start to go numb if I am not ergonomically seated. I think the issue may be that the gas pedal touches the floor, where this is not the case in the Atlas.



I know, first world problem, but was wondering if any of you have this issue or any tips on how adjust/resolve.

I'm a bigger guy and 6'. I am comfortable when the cruise is on.

Im 6'1 and just started using the cruise control.. Haven't thought about there not being enough room, so I guess it isn't an issue?! lol.. I keep track of it for you..

No issues here. Try thigh support and seat adjustments to get comfortable. I think I usually move my right foot closer to the brake anyway when using SCC.

I usually just keep my heel on the floor and lightly rest my foot on one one of the pedals. Also convenient to intervene if needed to stop or speed up when SCC doesn’t react fast enough. (even with fast reaction time set in settings)

I appreciate the responses so far. Still haven’t found a great solution, but I did notice something...

If I have ACC/HDA off, the pressure required to accelerate is heavier. With it on, the pedal pressure is lighter. If there is a way to keep the pedal pressure heavier, it would provide adequate resistance to use as a footrest. Is this something that can be adjusted?
