How are you passing the time until your Telly arrives? I personally have been watching and rewatching every video on YouTube regarding the Telluride. Big fan of these vids, where I can envision myself driving in my KT once it arrives.

So what are you doing to pass the time until the arrival?

In addition to rewatching your favorite automotive journalists, here are some activities that will consume your free time:

- obsess about floor mats and cargo mats
- decide whether you’ll do ceramic. Or PPF
- shop for aftermarket badges
- read up on financing. Run your numbers again.
- shop for key fob covers

Definitely watching YouTube videos and coming to this forum constantly. Without this forum I would be so lost. Definitely taught me how and where to buy the vehicle without getting ripped off from these dealerships.
But passing the time:
- which floor mats to buy
- which cargo liner to buy
- do I want to get side step/running boards
- trying to figure out which color looks the best (even though I already ordered. )
- figuring out how much money I want to put down and what my monthly payments will be.
- cleaning my garage to make space
- doing research on car seat covers(worried because my 2 toddlers will make a mess)
I appreciate all the information people are contributing to this forum and sharing their thought, experience, and posting pics. It has helped me a lot getting information about the vehicle and the buying process. Should get the vehicle in early August.

I just got word my Telly should be here in 2 weeks. My excitement was quickly squashed by finding out there are $2k worth of options/accessories I did not order. Namely rear seat entertainment for the tune of $1500. I don't have children and the system would probably never get used its entire existence.

None of the options she gave me will probably suffice. She said they would give me some free window tint or car mats? Really?! It actually came with car mats already, of which of course, I did not order either because I want weathertech. Another option was to take it, she would order another and I would pay a .25 cent depreciation fee per mile on trade in. That is so ridiculous it just pisses me off. Of course the other option was to order another and they would sell this one to somebody else and my 4 month wait would start all over.

I'm really twisted right now. My happy night turned into a nightmare.

Sounds like they just matched you up with an allocation. Getting an SX-P in 3 months is probably another red flag.

No its not an allocation, I waited 4 months for this sucker. If I tell the salesperson to give it to somebody else, I have to wait another 4 months.

They didn't add a thing to my EX order. They probably matched you up to something they had coming in that was the same trim and colors.

That really sucks. I ordered an SX-P and it arrived perfectly as ordered. There have been a couple instances on this forum where people report some discrepancies as you have. I would ask the dealer to provide you with evidence that they placed the order correctly with the factory.

That's terrible. Especially high-priced add-ons like the rear entertainment system (by all accounts, it's useless and even people who were excited to pay for it are regretting it). Not sure what your risk tolerance is, but chances are you can sell it for more than sticker when your new order comes in....might want to consider taking it and reordering.

He’s so sick of hearing about the Telly decisions, he’s now thrown up his hands and given me carte blanche over whatever I want to decide. Apparently my plan worked perfectly.

I check failcat about at least 10 times a day, look at which mats I want. Been researching which company I will go to for my ceramic coat. And look at this forum repeatedly.
