• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi there!

Wife’s 2022 has developed a vibrating rattle type noise which seems to be coming from somewhere on the driver side. Gets louder on bumps.
Almost sounds like it is coming from the dash area.
I have tried to locate it but haven’t found anything. Can’t recreate the noise at all when the car isn’t moving.

Stumped. Anyone else?

Grab your “ohh $*!+” handle on the drivers side and see if it stops.

Mine will make noise on occasion. Pull the handle down and release it and it is quiet again.

There’s a removable panel on the center console down by the driver’s right foot. It’s held by a tab and a Velcro strip that sometimes gets loose. I would tap it lightly and see if it rattles.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Turns out it is the break pedal arm that is rattling.

Now the passenger captain chair in second row is squeaking away.

Ugh!

Some have found the source to be the the leather rubbing against the LATCH anchors. Could try squeezing a towel in between the metal/leather surface and see if it eliminates the squeak.

Ha! I had a similar TERRIBLE rattle a couple months ago. Seemed to be coming from the dash / glove box area. Took the glove box out .....nope, not it. I was planning to take the dash apart next. Riding w/ my 12 year old grand-daughter up front.......I said "Hear that? I'll give a $100 if you can find that rattle". She promptly reached up and snapped the sun-visor into it's holder. .......VOILA ! .........I pulled a $100 bill out, and was GLAD to give it to her!
