• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey friends - expecting mine in next week sometime. Before I tell them what to do with the front plate bracket, have any of you asked the dealer not to put it on, and if so, what is your solution until next July? I'm aware of the Sly Brackets in particular, but wondered if there were other "ways" people were attaching them until next year. Thanks!

I got mine in Indiana and the Dealership didn't put it on because they didn't think we would want the bumper drilled in to. I'm going to risk it and just leave it off. I know some of my friends have had no font plate for over 5 years with no problem.

I bought my EX in August at a Columbus dealer. I requested that the front license plate bracket not be installed. Unfortunately, the dealer said that he had to install it because it's the current law and he didn't want to assume the liability if he left it off and something happened.

That's crap. I bought my Stinger here in Ohio and the service manager said he wouldn't drill into my front bumper to put it on even if I wanted him too...LOL..One of their lackeys probably put it on already and they didn't want to replace your bumper.
