If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I was at Front Runner on Friday and we spent about 4 hours with their prototype team and in their shop. Here is the design they are looking for approval for retail.
It’s 49in wide and about about 71in long. It has a total of 9 slats.

Here is a progression of the different rack sizes I’ve been trying with them for almost 3 months.

I don’t have part numbers since it’s a prototype, but this is the final design. Once this has been approved it will be available on their website.

Interesting, kinda like it, kinda not sure.

So you have the rack up there; what’s next? Curious to see what options this rack gives you

Yes it’s mine and on my truck now. I am mainly going to use it for my Roofnest Roof Top Tent. I got their quick release brackets, Quick Release Tent Mount Kit - by Front Runner

Other stuff I am planning to get:
light bar
ditch lights
snowboard mounts
traction board mounts
awning mounts
storage boxes

Here is all their rack accessories:

I’m thinking of the roofnest as well. Will it work with condor XL? Concerning of total dynamic weight with the rack. What’s the weight on the front runner rack itself? Thanks.

That’s is exactly what I have right now. The Condor XL. For the Condor XL you only need to be able to support 150-160 lbs of dynamic weight which is the max for most cross bars like Thule, Yakima and the Kia Brand. With a platform rack you can support a lot more dynamic weight. Front Runner’s is about 660lbs.

If you have Instagram follow me on there @tellyridin I post a lot more there with info. I’m mounting my RTT this weekend. I was hoping to get a garage lift but they are ok back order so just going to muscle the RTT on the truck with some friends.

Biggest factor for me is how noisy it is. I don't even hear the factory cross bars on now. I have Audi's that I could here them whistling at 40 mph.

We tried a few different wind deflectors and the ones I have now work the best. I only hear a “Woosh” noise when the roof cover for the sun roof is open. Again I never open the sun roof and I always have the cover shut so I don’t hear anything. Plus what ever music I’m playing combined with my noisy kid blocks all that out haha.

if the wind noise was that much of an issue they have wind fairings that can be mounted to deflect is more.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I've been pestering customer service for about a year and a half asking about when a slimline 2 for the telluride would be released. Quick question: this replaces the factory roof rail correct?

This wouldn't, it uses flush-mount feet that clamp onto your flush roof rails. Very similar to how Yakima's and Thule's work. I had my rails vinyl wrapped black so I don’t know if that makes it blend in more with the Front Runner Rack.

Thanks for including photos. The vinyl wrapped roof rails look very slick. With the clamp on design is frontrunner estimating their usual 660 pounds max weight capacity?

@Alonzo_Tigerhart Can you open the moonroof with the full rack on?
With the thinner smaller wind deflectors you can, but you still get some wind noise going 75+ MPH. I am asking for the larger longer ones that we tested originally that eliminate the wind noise. With that, you CANNOT open the roof since it angles up and back it will hit. We never use it so it's not a big loss for us.

I guess if you really want the open the roof they sell a wind fairing like Thule and Yakima have to eliminate wind noise. That sits on a angle and is forward more so you can open the roof
