• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Front Runner Slimline 2 Platform Roof Rack (Prototype)

None of FR's tables will fit from the side, not even their narrow 21.7"W one?

Ya I don’t want the narrow prep table I want the larger one. The issue is the clearance from the top roof to the bottom of the rack. The brackets they table slides into would be directly touching it causing the roof to scratch. Also the clearance from the top of the flush rails and rack is really narrow. The best option would be from the rack by the antenna is in the way.

It looks like they didn't go with their Slimline style, instead mounting directly to the rails. Keeps the overall height of the vehicle and contents lower, but now I need to figure out where to put a table. Dang.

To everyone watching this tread I am thrilled to announce that the RACK IS READY!!!

They are still working to get it on the website, but you can either talk to the sales team through the chat online or call. The sales team has all the part numbers needed for this Slimline2 Platform rack. Liam is the sale person there I do all my sales with if you talk to him tell him that you were sent by "Joseph with the Telluride".

Let me know if you guys have any issues or questions.

Thanks again!

I called, was basically told it's not available , I wasn't able to get a ballpark estimate on price, or anything other than call back in a month or two

My Telluride is ready. My wallet is not ready at all. I was just murmuring to wife about how nice it would be to have a expedition style rack this weekend.

Reached out to support, and got the below. Reconfirming Wiluride's statement.

We did our first test fitment but it has not been approved to be released for purchase yet. We should have it available for purchase within the next 2-3 months.

I was at Front Runner on Friday and we spent about 4 hours with their prototype team and in their shop. Here is the design they are looking for approval for retail.
It’s 49in wide and about about 71in long. It has a total of 9 slats.

Here is a progression of the different rack sizes I’ve been trying with them for almost 3 months.

I don’t have part numbers since it’s a prototype, but this is the final design. Once this has been approved it will be available on their website.

Followed up with Frontrunner support. The rack kit is almost available for purchase.

We have finished the kit but are waiting for pricing and installation instructions. Should be within the next few weeks!

The rack is available for sale now. Put my order in.

Finally!

Make sure you add the wind deflectors, unless you want the humming noise at 60mph.

mist easier to install it when the rack it off but you can go through the sunroof.
I put the small ones on but I'm definitely going to put the bigger ones on. Haven't noticed much noise as long as I keep the sunroof completely closed but I know once I get on the highway it will get a bit noisy

I’d you’re getting a roof top tent. I highly suggest getting Front Runners, Quick Release brackets

Actually have those already! Went ahead and got those as well as the kayak rack, fishing pole rack, and side mounts for the fishing poles!
Nice! They have great accessories! Wolfpack boxes are great too

I got mine installed, but I just realized mine isn't installed correctly. Missing a spacer on the back end, and the feet aren't placed correctly. Looks like I was missing one instruction booklet. Probably why I had such a hard time getting it installed.

Good news with the fairing no whistle, and no noticeable noise while driving on the highway.
