Frustrated!!!

Hi everyone , Recently found this forum (and failcat) due to our telluride taking forever to deliver. When I talk to our salesman monthly, whom I've not met face to face, he tells me "should be soon" and that he knows nothing about the status of our order. We handed them $500 dollars around the 1st of September 2021 and don't know if we will ever see our vehicle. I found the dealer number on failcat and there are several recently created VIN's that would match what we ordered. Here's hoping...

Just keep the faith. I ordered from the same place and yes, once it's in failcat that means it will be at the dealership soon. I actually got to skip in line when someone canceled their order. The VIN he gave me was actually a VIN i was looking at and hoping that I could pick up if someone canceled. Took 5 months. No idea how long my actual order would have taken or who got it. From other posts I read, ours would have been like 7-8 months instead of 5.

The telluride will replace a 10 year old murano. EL CapiTRAN, did someone at the dealership give you the VIN? I'm only guessing on the vin going by the description on failcat

Have you received an update on your order yet? I placed an order with them Oct. 25, 2021 and have not heard anything from them since Feb. 8 when I was told it would be around May or June that it would be delivered. Just checking here before I call.

Mine is supposed to be on the lot or to be delivered in the next few days. I've been watching the dealers website, having learned the vin, and noticed that it showed up yesterday listed as in stock. I contacted the salesman I had been dealing with and he wasn't at the dealership and couldn't confirm if it was there. He said sometimes they will go ahead and list them if they know they will be in very soon. Haven't heard anything today.

I ordered at Fort Bend on Oct 5th 2021. It was picked up by KIA last week, but has not made it to failcat yet. EST delivery time was August 4th 2022.

Hang with them, it's just taking longer than expected. I was told 4-6 months when I ordered, but as you can see it is going to be close to 10 months.

Yeah, sometimes they will list it on their website when they know the VIN is incoming. That was very similar to mine. I had actually seen the VIN (not mine) on their website and was thinking *man I hope this person cancels* and lo and behold, my sales person called and indicates someone canceled their order w/o notifying them and wanted to know if I was interested. The car came in earlier than they estimated. I want to say it was about 3 weeks when I noticed the VIN on failcat/website until it was actually delivered. Keep the faith, it's almost here and if you wanted a '22 over a '23 then you just made the cut. Congrats.
