• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Fuel filler door sticks out in one corner, do you have this too?

🤖 AI Summary

New fuel door was supposed to go in yesterday. Apparently the tech broke a cable or something trying to install it so they had to order a part. Supposedly going to be done today. Hopefully it looks better and nothing makes noise. They had to tear apart the interior of the car to get to it.

Yikes! Mine sticks out ever so slightly, but not noticeable unless you really look close. I think I'm going to not worry about it and hope it doesn't get worse.

I've never had to push in the door to open it. My finger fits behind the top corner and I could just grab it. I wish I could post a video. When you lock the car it bumps out even further.

Can you grab corner and still open it even when the car is locked?

That would bug me too much and I’d have to get that fixed.
I'm thankful for no mechanical or electrical issues so far. All the issues have been fit and finish related.

The one wary of the Telluride is the fuel filler door. I think just about all of them stick out to some degree. You’d think they would have resolved the issue by now.

It really bugs me that:

A) I have to have my $40k+ vehicle repaired twice because they did a half assed job of assembly. With still unresolved fit and finish issues that I'm choosing to live with.

B) The dealer would give me back my vehicle which was half ass assembled in the first place, half ass assembled and missing parts.

I'm having one of those days where I'm NOT loving my Telluride.

Those filler doors are only held on by small plastic clips and will break quite easily, ask me how I know.

Which part is? They had to tear out my cargo area interior to replace the assembly.

How do you know? 🤓
