Fuse blowing

Hi. Also posted this to the Telluride subreddit. I noticed this after I replaced the car battery, but not sure if that is related or not:

My homelink mirror buttons were not working - determined there was no constant 12v going to the mirror which sent me down the path of checking fuses. Fuse 9 is blown and blows instantly when a new fuse is installed. That fuse is for "Blind-Spot Collision Warning Unit LH/RH, Electro Chromic Mirror, Console Switch". Any idea what could be causing this? I can take to dealer of course (have extended warranty) but do not imagine that will be a fun process. oddly, there are no error messages in the car.

As it's covered by warranty, just take it to the dealer..

FWIW, any fuse that instantly blows is colloquially known as a "dead short". Meaning that there is a power supply wire or a component on that circuit that has a direct pathway to ground.
For the diagnosis part...should be somewhat simple.

You say there's no faults; Are you using factory level software/diagnosis program? Most scanners available to the aftermarket don't have bi-lateral communication capabilities with ALL the modules installed on the car.

I'm not sure what it is with Hyundai/Kia, however, in my old world (BMW tech) this was in the body domain module. If there's a bad mirror or sensor shorted to ground, it will show it.

Any aftermarket accessories installed?

I can STRONGLY suggest you do not up the amperage of the fuse. Wire/component melting will most likely be the result.
