  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey everyone - new future owner from Kansas City area here. My wife and I are in the process of ordering an SXP in Moss/Gray with Tow Package, illuminated kick plates, roof rails, and bumper appliqué from Jason/ Lucas at Muncie so I thought I’d introduce myself. Been very impressed with the Muncie experience so far.

This will be replacing my wife’s 2013 Jeep Patriot. I drive a 2016 F-150 Lariat, and I also have a 1965 Mustang as my fun car (currently undergoing restoration). Looking forward to adding the Kia!

No doubt. She's not a huge car person, but when she got in the Telluride for the first time she let out an audible "woah". I don't think she fully realized how bare bones her car was until then. She's probably more excited about the Telluride getting here than I am.

If there's an other cars/off topic area here, I can share some pics of the Mustang. It was my first car, but I decided to start over from scratch and build it 100% right this time.

Nice Shelby! I've owned it about 18 years now. When we first got it, we had it painted, rebuilt the motor/trans, and that was about it. Stage 2 about 10 years later was full suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, 9" rear, and 17" wheels/tires. Stage 3 (now) will be new paint (dark blue), interior (white), manual trans swap (5 speed), motor rebuild, and all the other odds and ends to make it 100% done the way it should be. Pics are the car before I tore it down and the motor as it sits today after I rebuilt/painted/detailed it. It is the original 289, bored .040 over, with ported heads, street cam, roller rockers, aluminum intake, HiPo Mustang exhaust manifolds, and some other goodies. A little north of 320 hp at the crank. With the 5 speed and the 3.25 gear I have in there, it should be a fun cruiser.

Very nice, that thing looks beautiful...Will look great dark blue..the Kona blue is a nice shade.

Mine isn't a shelby..it's just a 3.7 V6, I have the Cevinis C series body kit on it. Have a CAI, 73mm Throttle body, 93 MPT race tune, 3.73's and aluminum 1 piece drive shaft in it. Probably sitting around the 320 mark also. Running 20X10's on the back and 20X8.5's up front. She does pretty good with mid 13's in the quarter. Load pics to the media area if you would when you progress through the build, would love to see it.

That's what I get for guessing when I couldn't get the thumbnail to open. Nice car!
