• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Yea, I wish. I only financed it to get the rebate as per their agreement I paid it off over 90 days. After 7 calls again today being told we are too busy to talk to you and hung up on 6 out of 7 calls, I talked to a human manager to find out that when I bought the vehicle in Virginia and even though all the documentation was done for my Florida address (Taxes, Plates and registration) KIA Finance issued the Title to the Virginia DMV . So...this is the info I could have used from KIA 6 months ago. I will be calling the Virginia DMV tomorrow.

THANK YOU ALL!!! I had planned on getting financing through Kia but after reading the horror stories, and then going online to read their reviews, i will go with my first choice no matter what they offer me. my wife has leased 2 kia's she loves the cars, and like others have had problems with financing.

For what it’s worth. I purchased my Stinger and financed with Kia at 0.9% for 48 months. I had zero issues from the start and even when I paid the car off in full earlier this year had good customer service with Kia Finance coordinating the payoff amount /title issuance etc. I plan to finance with Kia again at 1.9% for 48 months (Had planned 0.9% previously).

That sounds like the dealer screwed up, not Kia Finance. Finance is filing what is sent to them. My dealing with Finance was a non-event. The only issue was the dealer put the wrong county in and the registration info was sent there. A simple call was all that it took to take care of it. I actually got two release letters from Kia Finance on different dates and a small refund check (less than $1). I financed and paid off after 20 days to get the 1K rebate. This was in April.

My experience may be more complicated due to the fact I bought out of state but that doesn't excuse the difficulty in contacting KIA Finance . Not to mention the misinformation and lack of follow up I have gotten from the reps .

Kia Finance is a freaking nightmare if you have an issue. I've paid $40500 towards my Telluride and my principal is just over $3800 still. Problem is I've been trying to get my payoff balance fixed since May. It showed I owed $15000+ which I don't. Someone got $5k applied but it still reflects over $11k. They want me to pay it all and when they fix it refund me $7k. Hell no! If they can't fix it in the 5 months I've been calling every week they will never fix it. I'm stuck hostage with this until someone gets off their ass and fixes the missing payments. I've talked to so many supervisors and sent them my bank statements showing it was paid. Their excuse is there was a glitch in March (yet it kept happening through May) and finance only works 2 days a week. I call bs because if that was the case nobody would be driving Kia's off the lots on the same day.

Like I told a friend of mine who was considering using KIA Finance....They are wonderful unless you need to communicate with them, solve a problem, ask a question or believe they will follow up in any way.

I needed information to get my Tag. We have sent two emails to Kia Finance but only one response and the response was to call Kia Fiancial, they will not communicate by email at this time. Also the response came from Hyundai Capital in a secure email that required creating an account and password to open. It took me 30 minutes of research to figure out if it was a not a scam email. A secure email to tell be to call.

We had already called several times and after more than 20 minutes on hold were cut off without talking to anyone. I called again and after more than 20 minutes I talked to someone. I asked her to call me if we were cut off she said she could not make a call out. Finally she found the request from the DMV and told me KIA Finance would not deal with it and had been forwarded to the dealer. I was never contacted. Had I not followed up I would not have known the DMV was not getting information. The dealership is now trying to get it resolved.

After the call they sent me an email to take a survey. This thread is a summary of my comments. If I could I would rate communication and customer service with KIA Finance a zero.
Love the cars hate the service. Got my bday wrong everytime I called I had to give the wrong bday so they knew who I was. If you think thisnis bad wait tell you have to use your gap insurance
