GA Dealership Purchase Price

Had a dealership throw that figure my way for an EX with premium and Nightfall. Lowest I found out here is a 5k fee. Which I can't rationalize for anything. Really want a Telluride but it appears I'm at least 6 months behind on the bandwagon.

Ed Voyles quoted me around 3 months no more than 6, that if it took 6 it would likely be a 2022. We will see...

If you try to buy one on the lot they will mark it up, but if you order from the factory it's MSRP. I worked with James McCoy.

I think it's dumb, but I get it. As soon as these things hit the lot without a buyer in line there are 100 people in line to buy it.

It's the same thing in the real estate market. If you have a price of $300K on your house and 50 people want to buy it the minute you can be out of it for $350K+ why would you sell it for $300K?

I did make sure to get a signed in writing "out the door" final price, with a clause to allow for an MSRP increase if pushed to a 2022 model.

Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee. Tino is the salesman I worked with. (818) 581-1009 is his cell phone. The most transparent car purchase I've ever done.

Ah!! I checked with Ed Voyles of Smyrna - I’ll check with Chamblee. Thanks all! Edit: Spoke to Tino and he stated they still do orders at MSRP but it’s a 2k deposit now. We had a good convo and he stated that he expected a 500-900 increase in MSRP for the 2022 model and has no idea when orders would be fulfilled. Definitely would use him if I didn’t already have a deposit on an order already.

With line out the door, kias I went to all stated refundable on deposits. I put two orders in and Carriage Kia in Woodstock won my order.

I got mine from Kia of Canton Michigan. They sell for MSRP. Try reaching out to them to see if they have one upcoming in the near future. They are a small dealership.

I worked with Stacy Hogan but you can’t go wrong with anyone. Check in failcat dealer code MI047, for their upcoming inventory. Good luck

Have you gotten any update on your order? I'm considering buying from Ed Voyles because I'm suspicious that the dealership that has my current order is manipulating the order in which its orders are picked up. A friend of mine got hers from Ed Voyles in three months.

I'm literally searching the entire US trying to find what I want at MSRP.

So far no luck...

I have 0 issues with flying from Atlanta to wherever and driving back to Georgia if I can get what I want without a markup without having to order and wait.

This is something altogether different & new right here. I thought (and had read) that it was just too subtle? Daaaaang--more decisions...
