It looks like these are hitting the roads. Looked it up top of the line trim is $81K. That is a good chunk of change.

Genesis GV80 sighting

I went to look at the GV80 at my local dealer a few days ago. I really love the interior and the screens they use for the instrument cluster and infotainment. The exterior styling is pretty nice looking as well, but the wheels are kinda meh in my opinion. I didn’t have time to drive it, but I’ll prob head back to do that at some point as one of my buddies is in the market for one. On the dealer sticker, they also tried to add the “dealer adjustment” of $10k but the salesman basically said that they wouldn’t charge that. There were other dealer added things that added up to a few thousand too. Don’t know how negotiable they are on those because I didn’t get into any serious price talks since I was just there to take an initial look and check it out. I kinda wish the Telly came in that nice blue color of the GV80 I took pics of. I think it would look nice.
The top of the line 3.5T AWD Prestige came out to $71k before destination and dealer adds.

Must of had that dealer adjustment on it. I was seeing 70s and 81k was the highest in Florida.

I don’t know anything about the pre-orders but my local dealer has at least 10 available for purchase right now. According to the salesman I spoke with, they sold their first few at 10k over but none since. I 100% agree with you though that in that price range, if they are charging above MSRP, there are plenty of other options I would consider instead.

How timely. I just got a call from Infinity this week that the G80 I has put an inquiry in for has shown up at the dealer. Had to tell them I was out of the market (never really was!). This was a few months before I bought one. It seems like a nice car but I was getting tired of looking at $80 SUV's like the X5!!

Looks like he was testing the limits. Said he was traveling at a high rate of speed. Glad nobody got seriously hurt.

Doctors did surgery and had to put rods, pins etc in his right leg. Pics of the wreck looks like a lot of airbags went off; Hyundai could flip this as a “see the excellent safety features of the G80”.
