Got a deal on an EX , am I going to regret not getting an SX ?

So I've been shopping around for the last month or so and I found a dealer thats not trying to rip me off. I'm getting the car slightly below the MSRP price, with tax and licensing it $46.2K OTD.

* Carpeted floor mats

* Illuminated scuff plates

From my research this is $800 below MSRP, I scheduled a test drive tomorrow, I already drove the S model and thought that was fancy enough for me. But now I'm starting to wonder if I should cancel this and spend the extra 4.5K and get the SX with the prestige package. Are the extra features really worth the cost and is the price im getting for the EX a good deal ?

If you want captains seats and 20inch wheels on a EX I have 2 due in next month. KIA sent two my way and they are fairly rare at the moment. Not full SX but it might make you lean one way or the other.

The big differences I have noticed from EX to SX is Rims, speakers- no spreakers in the 3rd row, no center speaker in dash and no sub, and the color display in the speedo area that shows blindspots when you use turn signals.

I don’t think the extra $ for a SXP is worth it, but the extra $ for a SX is worth it.

The main reason I bought an EX was due to the fact that it’s a 8 seater. Had they offered bench seats in the SX, I would have bought that. The wheels and tires alone are worth at least $1500. LED head lights with orange DRL, 360 camera, larger LED dash, better sound system, dual sunroof, front parking assist, and much more.

Then you get all the other unadvertised features; 3rd row reading lights, metal pedals, metal scuff plates, tilting side mirrors on reverse, and I’m sure there are more that I missed.

Really depends what features matter to you. Personally, the only things on the SX-P that I would enjoy are the HUD and LED headlights. I prefer bigger sidewalls on my tires, don't keep the sunroof open much, prefer bench seating, and find the regular sound system better than the upgraded one. So for me, the SX upgrades aren't worth it. For you it may be different.

New member here. The 20 inch wheel option on the EX, are the same black ones that come on the SX? If so, what is the up charge for this option? Same question for the captain chairs, is there extra cost for those on the EX? Thanks in advance

They are not black. They look like the S wheels. It's part of a premium pkg

I have an EX. Love it. SX definitely has some extra goodies, but not worth the extra $4K for me. I took some of that extra $$$ and installed Xenon HID bulbs and ballasts because the EX headlights suck. The HIDs are freaking awesome. I also had 3M paint protection added to the front, front sides and mirrors. Much better use of my $$$ and I have money left over.
