If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Got my new GG, SXP/NFE tonight!!! So excited to check it out in the daytime tomorrow.

Need to give some shout outs for good experiences - Patrick Scofield at VanDevere Kia in Akron, Ohio. He posted not long ago on the B/S/T page that he was going to have exactly what I was looking for. I live outside Philly and was able to purchase and arrange for transport. Purchased at MSRP. Less than two weeks from his post to the car arriving in my driveway (one week after the car arrived at the dealership in Akron).

CarMax in KOP, PA gave me a strong offer for my 2020 EXP-T trade. Ultimately, I decided to trade it in with the same dealership I was buying from for the tax benefit. (Highest offer was $38k; my 2020 had about 9400 miles on it; one accident - fully repaired - but showed on the carfax report used by other dealers).

Kevin Dudley of Enclosed Vehicle Transport. A little more expensive than some of the big companies - but I appreciated working directly with one person. Kevin was GREAT about communication - even with some hiccups along the way - and transported my trade to the dealership and my new car to me. (If not for Covid precautions, I likely would have driven the 400 miles (each way) myself - but it was too much to try and do 800 miles myself - and I was not willing to stay in a hotel. Paying MSRP, the shipping costs almost feel like my ‘Market adjustment’. Definitely recommend working with this shipper.

I also have to give special thanks to Jeff Richner at Murray Kia in Conshohocken. Jeff was great to work with (bought my 2020 from him) - and I probably would have bought my 2021 from him - but I didn’t want to wait for the time to order. When Patrick posted what I was looking for from VanDevere - I jumped on it. The only thing it doesn’t have is the tow package - but in all honesty - I don’t need that to get a hitch and bike rack (only thing I will ever tow).

Super excited - and wanted to share some positive mentions - especially now that “GG” is safely parked in my driveway. Can’t wait to take her out!

I know this post is little old but how did you negotiate a trade offer with out of state dealer? I am having tough time doing that and not getting reasonable quotes without taking the vehicle to them. Please suggest.
