I just purchased/ leased the Telluride I was looking for - so I paid about 5K over sticker and I am trying to get over the fact that I left that happen .

But my wife wanted it - it is white an S model as I needed the sunroof AWD. Love it son far - 3 hours ...

Wish my wife wanted a Telluride. She wants the VW Atlas, and that is what we will end up getting... Oh well...

What a coincidence - We were seriously considering the Atlas - could not find the R line in the color we wanted . Be well and have a great day ..

The Atlas is a fine car. I will be happy with it for the next 5-10 years. It's just not the Telluride... I think there are a few compromises in the Atlas (my opinion):

1. with captain's chairs, the 2nd row only has the cupholders on the doors and nothing in the middle... that's a terrible design, T-ride has 2 in the middle and the doors
2. 2nd row air vents are only by your feet, whereas T-ride has on top, kids preferred on top
3. 3rd row doesn't have any USB charges! T-ride has one on each side
4. interior styling just looks blah to me. Lot of plastic, bland color/design. The infotainment seems dated - at least compared to T-ride

But I will learn to like the Atlas. The exterior does look nice and I will probably get the R-line added.

I'm totally on board with getting the T-ride against my wife's desire. I think she will also end up liking it but it will definitely cause a rift if I make that decision without her consent
