  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm wondering if I will be unsatisfied with a bumpy ride. I've been an Odyssey owner/driver/passenger for nearly 2 decades and have found them comfortable. On the occasion when I have to ride in one of the trucks (Tacoma and Tundra), I feel like I am being bounced around like a beachball. Any previous Odyssey owners care to share their experience? The only Telly I could find to test drive had oversized low profile tires on it and while it was surprisingly smooth, I didn't think it was a true test.

A lot of owners came from previously owning a Honda Odyssey.

Used forum search tool for keyword “odyssey”.

In terms of a bumpy ride, it will all depend on how fast you are driving and if you are sitting in the front or rear rows. On flat roads, bumps usually won’t be an issue for pot holes. If you are going over speed bumps you will definitely notice more in the rear rows.

The Telluride will definitely be smoother than a body-on-frame truck, even those will coil springs at all four corners. While not an Odyssey, I had a Honda Pilot prior to my Telluride and I’d say the Telluride is as smooth, if not more so.

I’ve also owned a ‘21 Explorer, ‘19 Ram 1500, ‘17 F150, and have driven a ‘21 Sienna, ‘21 Highlander, and ‘21 Atlas. The Telluride, in my opinion, has the best ride quality among them all. The Highlander had a smoother ride, but didn’t feel as controlled over bumps.

There's another inch of rubber between the wheels and the pavement with the smaller wheels. You should definitely give one of those a test drive to see if there's a difference. It probably won't be a BIG difference, but some...
