Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone ordered 2022 LX AWD with tow

I looked at about 25 recent window stickers in failcat just now for LX AWD and none of them listed the tow option. (Tow package is not available on LX.)
You can still add this after taking delivery and the parts come back in stock or going aftermarket. They might be using whatever parts supply they have for the orders for the higher trims that are included in the package.

Thank you for getting back to me. How are you seeing window stickers on failcat. I know you could at one time but thought they were removed. Do you think my order will still be filled, just w/o the tow?

To view the stickers on failcat, just click on the vin number and it will pull up the sticker for that vehicle in pdf format.

If your order is filled from dealer allocation then you will probably get one without. When I ordered my S a long time ago, I listed the Tow Option as a nice to have but I would take the first one that matched my color request and transmission, knowing that I could add the tow option later. When I ordered Kia didn’t have any specifics about a tow option and there was one metal shop in Canada who was making an aftermarket bolt on but the other aftermarket options weren’t out yet. I also requested the dealer write me an IOU for the accessories I wanted that were not on the window sticker so that I could order them and pick them up after delivery. I’m not sure it’s a buyer’s market like that anymore. Regardless, based on what I know from the Kia ordering system, I suggest focusing on as common a config as possible and hoping it matches a dealer allocation vs a custom request.
Do you think Kia will still pick up order and just ship without the tow. My concern is they will just skip over my order completely. Just looking for some feedback.
I think only your salesperson at the dealership can answer that. And if you don’t like the answer maybe check with another dealership and get your deposit back and start working with another dealer on your order? If someone else has a deposit without tow option they might give it to that person because it’s a better match.
