• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This may be a silly question. I haven't researched the manual. When I turn my temp setting to hot, turn the air flow to either under the dash or under the dash and from the dash and then turn on the fan speed, the AC light indicator immediately comes on? what am I doing incorrectly? I want heat. I don't understand why the AC comes on?

Its automatically going into defrost mode to keep your windshield from fogging up.

It’s also possible to disable the auto Defog system if you do not want it to control your AC automatically. But keeping it on is probably for the best.

I agree. Thank you for the reply. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't some type of malfunction.
