If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello from Seattle

Stormy* has arrived! It was delivered to the dealer about a week early, and we picked it up on April 30. The dealer (Lee Johnson in Kirkland, WA) was happy to record one more sale at the end of the month. The pick-up experience was great.

So far the Telluride is surpassing my expectations. I haven seen a single problem with build quality or performance. Still figuring out all the options - I'll probably have some questions, which I'll post separately.

*when I saw the white with nightfall, I immediately thought of a Star Wars stormtrooper. Also we figure it can drive us through a storm.

Congrats on getting your Telly! I just ordered mine from Kia of Puyallup about 2 weeks ago. It'll probably be another 6 months before I get mine. I too spent 2K over MRSP, but that sounds like the standard up here in the Seattle area. Look forward to seeing you and all others on the roads. Enjoy!

Looks like we're twins except for Ebony and Ivory! You're going to love it when it finally arrives. Yeah, I think 2k over MSRP is about the best you can get around here.

I put a bunch of this info in my signature as I've seen others do - why wasn't it included?

Here's what we ordered:
2021 KIA Telluride SX P/N/T AWD Glacier White Pearl/Gray
Ordered: 11/2/20
Order Picked Up by Kia: 3/15/21
Delivery Date: TBD

We're replacing a 2003 Honda Odyssey. It's actually fine if boring, but we ordered a small travel trailer and we didn't feel comfortable with the old Odyssey towing it.
That’s what I have, and I love the combo. So far we’re about 7k miles in and all is well. I debadged it and swapped the emblems. It’s also been tinted on all windows.

Of all the Tellys running around, the kids think our is the best looking.

Our requirements were:
- seats 7 adults
- can tow up to 5000 lbs
- good safety features
- good driving feel
- good reliability
- good value for the money
- some style

We eliminated Honda Pilot (steering too light) and Toyota Highlander (3rd row too cramped).

We really liked the Volvo XC90 Recharge, but it got knocked off the list due to price (about $80k), reliability (mediocre), and style (beautiful inside, but outside - meh). That thing drives beautifully though, obviously is very safe, and can go about 18 miles on electric only, which is super cool for errands around town. That's the main compromise for me on the Telluride - traditional V6 with no hybrid option.

Speaking of the Volvo, its beautiful white interior inspired us to get the Gray (it looks mostly white to me) interior for the Telly. Our kids are grown, so it will just be us spilling things on the seats. :) The risk is worth it to us for that light, clean look.

Congrats on the new car, looks stunning.
I was in the same boat as you (also live in the greater Seattle area). Our first choice was Telluride as well, but after failing to find a single dealer (this was back in December when we wanted to put in an order for May/June delivery) offering car at MSRP - we test drove other options and loved the Volvo XC90 Recharge. We just got ours this past weekend - MSRP - $71K, total rebate of $10.5k (Volvo is late model and there are tons of incentives right now) - came to $60.5k. It has an additional $5.5k tax credit for Hybrid that I will get next year as part of tax filing - so my total for the car came to $55k - almost same as Telluride SX with markup, but now I am driving a $71k MSRP car.
IMO, the additional markups are a shame and are driving potential customers away from the brand.

OMG, you ordered the exact vehicle I got, I ordered it 10-15-20 and took ownership on 4-28-21, such a long wait but totally worth it!! I love everything about it, just turned over 1,000 miles this morning. I have a 14ft flatbed trailer with quads, I haven't towed it yet, but I am looking forward to it soon. I hope you love yours as much as I do!!

If you don't mind me asking, Did you get the extended warranty they offer? How much was it? I put my order in sometime in June
